About Portal: Forever Testing

Portal: Forever Testing Is a Fan-created Modification for Valve Software's Portal 2, containing various custom-built levels for the game. Initially started in 2019 as a small map pack for Portal 2, Portal: Forever Testing was separated into a stand-alone mod for the game after many iterations, reaching its "Probably Final" update in 2022.

About The Definitive Edition

Forever Testing: Definitive Edition is the final iteration of Portal:Forever Testing, and includes several improvements and additions:

• The maps from the mod "Lost Between Floors", which itself originated as Forever Testing's first iteration and initial concept. Play the original, but new!
• An additional brand-new map exclusive to Forever Testing: Definitive Edition

• Several improvements to story, gameplay, and visuals in the original four maps

  • Remastered Voice lines where possible
  • Unintentional skips and puzzle confusion fixed where possible
  • Better scenery
  • etc.

Important Note:

This is a mod for Portal 2; as such, it requires a legitimate copy of Portal 2 on steam to install and play.

To install, Download the mod and extract the folder to:

C:\program files\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\
