Hello There, Volunteer!

...and welcome to Bluemaps, a Half-Life 2 mod, by the same guy who made "Portal: Forever Testing."

Bluemaps is a collection of varying challenges for Half-Life 2, putting you in the shoes of an anonymous volunteer who has agreed to go through them.

As an unknown voice guides you through the challenges over a set of loudspeakers, it quickly becomes apparent that something feels odd about it...

Features:

• Developer Commentary mode: listen to in-depth commentary by the developer of the mod without even leaving the game.
• Full subtitles for character dialogue
• Varied Gameplay: each map has a different gameplay theme
• Developed from a unique perspective, the mod was created by a former "Portal 2" mod-maker of over ten years' experience, bringing a unique perspective to Half-Life 2 mod-making, due to tonal differences between the games.

Important Note: Mod Installation Requirements

This is a mod for the game "Half-Life 2" by Valve Software. As such, it requires a legitimate copy of Half-Life 2 to be owned on Steam.

This mod was also built upon another mod as a basis for extra functionality, known as Mapbase, which can be downloaded here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/mapbase

To install this mod, first download and install mapbase. Next, download bluemaps and extract the folder to Steam's Source mods directory next to the Mapbase folders, typically at:  C:\program files\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\

Then restart steam, and it will be in your library.
